Rain today......booms of thunder
Grey skies......weeping
Yellowed grass.....transformed to green
Sound of raindrops upon the roof
makes me want to take a nap
read a book.....or
simply sit
thinking

I am enjoying this rain. We did not get so much of the nice day yesterday confined in the car, but we have had out share.
I am a little slow adjusting to the fall coming. I still think of it as August. Tommorrow it is supposed to smell like fall.
Nice photos in the last post. The canoe in particular is incredible.
Enjoy that rain! down huur in North Carolina, I beleive we are once again experiencing a drought. Hanna moved through here too fast. Never thought I'd say it but sometimes you can miss the rain. We used to get hot humid days and nice southern downpours everyday, that was two years ago...now its just hot and humid everyday. What did they do before air conditioning? Good to hear from you as always....keep writing...
I actually like the rain. sometimes i'll walk to the car extra slow or even just stand out in it. the rain actually makes me feel good for some reason...i just like it. good stuff Godfather...good stuff indeed.
